This is a replacement uncoated armature compatible with Parker Series 9 pulse valves and Vacuum High-Speed Pulsed Solenoid Valves. The armature is a stainless-steel rod that actuates the valve when a magnetic field is induced by the solenoid coil assembly. Teflon™ coated armatures are typically more chemically resistant and have faster, more-consistent actuation times than uncoated armatures. However, some chemicals are destructive to Teflon and will perform better with an uncoated armature.
