These manual butterfly valves provide a low-cost alternative to bellows sealed gate valves. These valves easily actuate from the fully-closed position to fully open with only a quarter turn of the knob. A patented design allows the sealing disk to center itself when closing, with even pressure around the Viton O-ring seal. This design also helps to lower the amount of scuffing or rolling of the O-ring. Quarter-turn actuation, small footprint and the shortest possible gas path make manual butterfly valves the preferred choice for many applications.
These Ideal Vacuum Products vacuum butterfly valves are designed to have a low leak rate, typically on the order of 1x10-9 std. cc/sec. Helium. These butterfly valves have a ISO KF-25, NW-25 Vacuum flange for connection to the vacuum system, are manually operated, made of 304 Stainless Steel, and are manufactured in the USA.
Requires KF25 O-ring and Hinge Clamp for connection, not included.
