This Edwards ACX radial air cooling fan unit is used on nEXT240D, 300D, and 400D series turbo pumps and provides air flow perpendicular to the pump. It operates on 24 VDC. While it can be powered by the pump's Phoenix connector socket (the pump includes a mating connector), this cooling fan is typically powered by a remote TIC turbo instrument controller, a TAG turbo and active gauge controller, or a suitable user supplied 24 VDC power supply, leaving the pump's connector socket available to power a solenoid vent valve (TAV5/TAV6). This kit includes a 3 meter long power cable with an unterminated (bare wire) end, and screws for attaching the fan's 90 degree mounting bracket to the bottom of the pump. For maximum forced air cooling, both the radial and axial air cooling fan units (part number P105875) can be mounted and used simultaneously. Note that the pump or TIC controller can only power one fan at a time, so a separate power supply must be used to power both fans simultaneously. The user's power supply must be able to supply a minimum of .25A @ 24 VDC.
