These new Agilent IDP-2, IDP-3 foreline traps are for NW16, KF16 inlets and serves to prevent contaminants from entering the dry scroll pump inlet and protects the customer's vacuum chamber or instrument from backwards migration of pump particulate. This trap extends the life of the pump, cuts maintenance costs, and helps prevent system downtime. This Agilent Varian KF16 inlet trap also comes with a HEPA filter, which also is sold separately. (HEPA Filter replacement element part number: REPLHEPAFILTER2).
